Collage and art journaling have been a hobby of mine since I was in High School. I am truly content sitting on the floor of my bedroom with a stack of magazine clippings, paints, pens, pencils and a glue stick filling the pages of my journal with thoughts and imagery that help me reflect and better understand my self and my life. For my Senior Project (a BFA requirement), I decided to bring this process out of my journals by creating a book that is in the same art/collage style, while adding my own commentary on my process of living and my philosophy on self-examination and reflection.
