Citronella Floating Candles

The perfect summer decor for outdoor spaces, this project is quick and easy to create using citrus fruit and fresh herbs from your garden.

Instructions

Step One

Harvest fresh herbs from your backyard using scissors (I used rosemary, lemon thyme, lavender and chamomile from my garden). Then slice the lemons and limes.

Step Two

Place the fresh herbs into each jar. Fill the jar about half way with water and add about 10 drops of citronella oil to the herb and water mixture. Next, add in the sliced citrus and fill the jar the rest of the way up with water.

Step Three

Finally add the floating candle and tie a piece of twine around each jar for added decoration.

Place on your backyard patio table or outdoor altar!
